How To Feel Better All Over From Your Feet Up
Do you feel as though you are dragging most of the time? Humans are not naturally tired and often constant fatigue is one of the earliest hints that something is either missing from your diet or you're pushing yourself too hard.
Look at your diet closely, if it is filled with lots of stops at fast food restaurants and you're eating a lot of pre-packaged or processed foods - you're probably ingesting a lot of complex carbohydrates/starches and not enough good energy giving carbs.
Take charge of the way you feel and make it a point to get enough sleep at night. Instead of stopping at your favorite burger joint for a fat-laden meal that will give you more calories than you should actually consume in a day; opt to eat at home. You can still have many foods you love, just have them in smaller portions (about the size of a deck of playing cards is a portion for most foods) and add in fruits and vegetables. Your body craves phytonutrients that are only found in these sources and will drive you to eat until it gets them - this is another cause for overeating. Last but not least,start moving your body.
Your body is a machine and it was meant to be moved. Make sure that your shoes fit your feet. Should You Wear Flip Flop Sandals to Work?
Ten years ago, the answer to that question would have been a resounding "No!"; however today - office attire can be so casual in some companies, that wearing flip flops isn't an issue at all. The flip side of that coin is that flip flop sandals are designed to be a lot more than casual foot attire as well and come better made and more stylishly designed than ever.
Havaianas Sandals used to be the flip flop that the working class wore. However, Hollywood noticed the sheer comfort of the buttery soft soles that no company has been able to duplicate since and they became the casual sandal of choice. They look terrific with summer dresses or short skirts. Another type of flip flop that is work friendly are the Roxy Lychee flip flops. They have a thick wedge heel making these a mid-height flip flop. The soft EVA inner and outer sole make these super comfortable.
The only drawback is if safety will be an issue. If you work in an environment where not having your feet fully protected could result in an injury, you need to save the flip flops for after work and on the weekends as your safety comes first.
If your company approves of the wearing of sandals, go for it. Your feet deserve to be comfortable and wearing sandals is the optimum way to treat your feet right.
