A Little Lift Please

Whether you're four-feet eleven-inches or five-foot-ten, you'll enjoy the sexy look just a little bit of heel in a sandal can give your legs.

Warmer weather tends to bring out the lighter and shorter fashions. No matter if your legs are long or short, they will look great in a pair of sandals with a gentle lift.

Espadrilles are grand for giving the legs a bit of lift. The way the wedge heels curves up will give your calf muscle a gorgeous, sexy curve. A little one inch heel on a pair of sandals looks flirty and is very comfortable to walk in. If you are planning on spending your day at the beach or you'll be someplace casual; go for a flip flop with a one to two inch stacked heel. Stacked heel thongs look especially good with short skirts and also bathing suit wraps.

Early in the sandals season, you can help Mother Nature along and use a bronzer on your legs. There are several brands of moisturizing bronzers that will do the double duty of keeping your legs looking youthful and also a little sun kissed. If you avoid all sun on your skin, a bronzer is a great way to have a little bit of color with out the harm of the UV rays of the sun.

If you're looking for a way to make your legs look their very best, look for sandals with a little lift in the heel!

Get Your Feet and Legs Ready for Spring and Summer

Get Your Feet and Legs Ready for Spring and Summer

Winter is officially just around the corner but it's never too late to start getting your feet ready for showing off in the warmer months. Feet can get dry and look extremely unattractive and it can happen quickly.

First of all, stay hydrated. It's important to drink enough water every day for your skin to stay moisturized. If you are dehydrated, long before you feel thirsty, your body will have robbed valuable moisture from your outer layer of skin. This leaves you with a probability of early wrinkles, pimples and also - dry feet.

You can have beautiful feet for only about 30 minutes of your time per week. First of all, soak your feet in warm water. Add some Epsom salts if you like then scrub your feet with a pumice stone. If you have let your feet go it may take a few soaking to get them back to tip-top shape. Don't scrub so hard you break the skin. Just get off all the dead skin you can.

Then pat your feet dry and apply moisturizer, do not put on any kind of socks unless they are 100% cotton. Acrylics and especially panty hose will do nothing to help your feet retain moisture.

Clip and file your nails if needed and although you only need to soak and scrub your feet about once a week, do moisturize your feet every night before bed and by the time warm weather rolls around, you'll have a devastatingly good looking pair of feet to show off in a pair of sandals!

Guys Can Have Great Feet for Sandals Too

Not that he couldn't do it himself, but if you've noticed your guy has been letting his feet go, it might be time to take things into your own hands - literally. You can go a step further and make it a fun evening for the two of you. Break out a nice bottle of wine or mix up some hot toddies and light a few candles to set a relaxing mood.

First of all, he will need to soak his feet. You can use just plain old warm water or add some Epsom salts for commercial foot soak. He will need to soak his feet at least five minutes and not more than ten. Then take one foot out and put it on a towel but do not dry it off. Using a pumice stone, gently slough off all the rough skin from his feet.

Then, put his feet back in the water and use your hands to rinse any remaining sloughed skin off and then remove his feet from the water and bloat the water from his feet but do not completely dry. Then break out your favorite moisturizer and slather it on his feet and rub the lotion until it is absorbed.

He will need to be off his feet at least an hour while the lotion does its job. Pop in a favorite movie or just kick back and enjoy some alone time together.

Another fun idea would be to have a gift ready for him. Get your guy a new pair of sandals to show off his great looking feet in. It's the perfect way to say, "I love you and want you to always look your very best!".

Exercises to Look Great in Your Sandals

Holiday season brings on extra pounds that seem to land everywhere, including on your legs. If you have making a New Year's resolution to look good in your shorts and sandals this spring and summer, there are some easy exercises you can do to help get your legs into head turning form.

You don't need to devote hours a day to your exercise routine. Just thirty minutes a day at least three days a week will bring results. The more times a week you can devote to your work out, the faster you can tone your legs.

First of all, spend at least five solid minutes stretching and warming up your legs. This will lessen the chance of injury. Next, keep in mind that pain is a signal, if something hurts, stop doing it. It takes far longer to recover from an injury than to do the preventative activities to prevent one.

Good exercises for toning legs include leg lifts. Simply lay flat on your back, keep you legs straight but not locked. Then, lift them off the floor and hold to the count of ten. Do this ten times and for variety you can do it with just your right leg or just your left leg in repetitions of ten.

Another good exercise is to do a cherry picker. You spread you legs slightly standing then lean forward get your hands as close to the floor as you can. Move your hands an inch forward and do not move your feet off the floor. Move forward as far as you can and you will feel a stretch in your calf and thigh area. Brisk walking or jogging is also very good. If you don't live in an area where it is safe to job or walk alone and you have no one to work out with, invest in a treadmill. It's there and there's no excuse not to do it.

Put a little effort into your workout routine and you can have legs that make people say ,"Wow" when sandal weather rolls around for 2007.

Hot Sandal Looks For 2007

No other footwear is more comfortable than sandals. They let your feet breathe, they keep your feet cool and it's about as close being barefoot as you can get. For the ladies in 2007, wedges will have lost none of their appeal. Anyone can get instant curves in their legs by wearing a wedge. The secret is the slightly raised heel that stresses the calf muscle

Another fun look is the artistic look. The foot beds of sandals are fast becoming canvases for various designs and even fund raising images for wildlife protection efforts. If you are already wearing a comfortable sandal, why not make it a work of art too. Would you rather go barefoot than wear shoes? A barely there pair of sandals with the slimmest of thongs or even a clear overlay to slip your toes into will please your need to wear barely there shoes.

If sexy is the look you want and you want more of a traditional heel than a wedge sandal will give you, go for a sandal with a once inch raised heel. A small dwindle heel that starts off wide and narrows to a small point where the sandal meets the floor will be ultra-feminine.

For the guys, the plain and simple sandal will continue to let the men put their best foot forward. Last season's houndstooth designs will still be hot as will traditional leather styles.

You will have a good number of choices for your look this upcoming season. Whether you like your sandals in a wedge, brightly decorated or barely there - you can firmly be in step with the coming fashion trends by shopping at Sandals Giant.
