Nothing says summer like a pair of sandals. The image of a woman in a light and breezy summer dress and a flippy pair of sandals is pure summer.

If you live in a warmer climate, you can wear sandals all year round. Many offices have relaxed their dress codes to allow open toed sandals and even if your office doesn't allow open toed sandals, there are some great closed toed styles you can wear with a light summer suit. Other great styles include slides, wedges with a flirty little heel and if you want something that is casual yet a little sexy, a pair of espadrilles can't be beat.

When you're planning on showing off your feet make sure they are view-worthy. Take the time at least once a week to buff and moisturize your feet. It's easy to do. Just soak your feet and then use a pumice stone to remove any rough spots. Moisturize your feet and then paint your toenails if desired. It takes just a little bit of time each week and if you do it on a frequent basis; you will be rewarded with a beautiful pair of feet.

Sandal season calls for two main things. Perfectly pedicure feet and wedge sandals to show them off in.

There is also a type of wedge sandal with a higher heel that gives a little bit a sexier feel. This type of wedge is usually called an espadrille sandal and it will normally have a jute wrapping around the heel area. These are light and breezy sandals and like all wedges, perfect for showing off sexy feet and legs during the summer!

If you can't be your sassy, sexy best in the summer, when can you? If you have a barely there little strappy dress, you need a barely there pair of strappy sandals to match your outfit. Another great choice if you want a little heel is to go with a wedge designed sandal.

Men Can Wear Sandals Too!

Getting your man into a pair of sandals may be difficult. Some men don't consider sandals masculine enough and others had a bad experience with uncomfortable sandals in their younger years and won't give them a second try.
