The Perfect Gift -Sandals
Doing a little last minute shopping and you're having trouble finding the perfect gift for that special someone on your holiday list? Consider a pair of sandals!
Sandals are the perfect gift for men, women and children. Even if isn't warm all year round where the gift recipient lives, sandals can perform a very useful function of keeping their bare feet off cold floors during the colder months of the year. There is also the safety issue of sandals. When a good pair of sandals with good traction are worn, the rubber grip will allow the wearer to have better grip on the flooring whether it is tile, wood or simply wet after a shower or bath and help eliminate falls due to slipping and falling on a slick floor.
A fun way to give a pair of sandals for an adult is to pick out a pair of sandals that has the look you know your gift recipient will love and then include a large beach towel, a pair of sunglasses, and pack it all in a clear bag with handles - call it their "Emergency Beach in a Bag" and they'll be ready to hit their favorite sand and water spot when warm weather arrives.
For kids, sandals make a great gift - don't buy a pair a few sizes too large hoping the kids will grow into them. It may seem like a great way to get a lot of use out of sandals but it can cause rubbing on the child's feet as well as the sandals may look worn by the time the child can wear them; not to mention that ill fitting shoes can be hazardous. Always opt for the right size when buying for children. Include some fun beach toys and maybe even a new floatie to use this summer when they are having fun in the sun with their holiday gift.
