The Southwest Look is here to stay for another season and if you want to make sure you are in full fashionable form from the top of your head to the bottoms of your feet, it's easy!
For the cooler months approaching you can wear many of the items you already have in your closet and layering is the key with the Southwest Look. Wear a denim shirt, with conchos or embroidery as you like, with a pastel shirt underneath and a duster jacket on top. Pants are usually jeans or twill material made in any of the earthy colors that the southwest style favors.
If you're curious about the colors to choose for this look, go for earth tones and also think about the beautiful painted mountains. Think soft yellows, whites, reds, blues and purples. Any of those colors will fit into the range well. Also, soft blends of those colors will also meld nicely into a great southwest look. Add silver conchos, beads and other accessories for a really pulled together look.
The two main kinds of footwear worn in the southwest look are sandals and boots. Both look fabulous with the long skirts or the long narrow legged pants that are favored by the style.
