Adjustable Sandals
If you have not been into wearing sandles because you have either extra thin or extra wide feet, you can still wear sandals.
When a person has very thin or very wide feet, they often make the mistake of wearing a sandal with the smallest thong toe separator as possible. The reasoning is that with a small thong on top, the wide feet will have room they need to be comfortable and the thin feet won't have the rubbing problem on the sides that is experienced with most slides.
Unfortunately, this line of thinking can lead to some uncomfortable fitting sandals as wide feet need more support and thin feet need sandals that will fit the footbed closely for a more comfortable walk.
A pair of adjustable sandals is the option for both these kinds of feet. Shoes that are too tight can lead to blisters and even foot infections. Shoes that are too large on the sides around a thin foot can lead to painful callouses from the rubbing.
Sandals with adjustable straps will allow you to pull the straps around until you get the perfect fit for your individual feet. Another option is a backless pair of
slide sandals with an adjustable thong that will eliminate the rubbing on any type of foot.
No matter what your foot size, you can get a comfy pair of sandals!
